Dr Toula Gordillo is an experience Psychologist with an extensive work history as a teacher, Guidance Officer Intensive Behaviour Support (GOIBS) and Head of Student Services in some of the largest high schools in Queensland. Though Toula’s work has consisted primarily of working with children and youth, Toula counsels individuals of all ages and with a variety of psychological issues. Toula is the creator of Story Image Therapy (SIT)™. Her therapy consists of using ancient and modern storytelling, combined with symbolic imagery, for positive mental health. Her areas of interest including stoic philosophy, positive psychology, creative trauma work, therapeutic reading (bibliotherapy) and writing therapy, myths, legends, fable and folktales for positive mental health.
